Kannada star Yash’s upcoming action film ‘Toxic’, directed by Geetu Mohandas, is gearing up for its worldwide theatrical release on August 26. The film’s trailer has already raised expectations among audiences. According to reports, the Central Board of Film Certification has awarded the movie an ‘A’ certificate without removing any scenes. The film is also said to have a runtime of 3 hours and 12 minutes.
Only two or three words have reportedly been muted in the Kannada version. Yash had earlier indicated that the film is intended for adult audiences. However, the reported decision to clear the movie without any scene cuts has sparked discussion, with some questioning how an adult-rated film received certification without visual cuts. Starring Nayanthara, Kiara Advani, Huma Qureshi and others in key roles, ‘Toxic’ is scheduled to hit theatres worldwide on August 26.
