Kannada star Yash has been in the news amid criticism surrounding his recent film Toxic and a controversy over producer Allu Aravind’s remarks about his pan-India success being linked to KGF. While Yash has already responded to the issue, his mother Pushpa Arun Kumar has now spoken in support of her son. She highlighted the years of effort behind his success and said he did not become a pan-India star overnight.
According to Pushpa, Yash had already built a strong identity and market in the Kannada film industry by delivering several successful films before KGF. She also pointed out that he entered the industry without a film background or inherited wealth and rose through his own hard work. Calling him a self-made actor, she said she is proud of what her son has achieved and questioned why some people feel threatened by his growth. Her comments have now become a topic of discussion on social media.
