As Yash’s Toxic gears up for release, expectations are also soaring for Ramayana, in which he plays a key role. The pan-world epic has been generating significant buzz over reports of a massive ₹4,000 crore budget. Comments from producer Namit Malhotra, who is also associated with the project alongside Yash, had further fueled discussions about the film’s scale.
Yash has now clarified that the ₹4,000 crore figure should not be viewed as the production cost of a single film. Since Ramayana is being made in two parts, the amount covers the combined production expenses of both films, along with other related costs and worldwide promotional activities. Yash explained that the project is being made and planned for a global release on the scale of a major Hollywood production. With Yash set to portray Ravana, the film has become one of the most anticipated Indian projects. Ramayana is scheduled for a grand release in India on November 8 this year.
