Sandalwood star Yash, after a long gap following KGF, is set to return to the big screen on March 19 with the movie “Toxic.” Directed by Geethu Mohandas, this action drama has so far released only the heroines’ posters, leaving fans eagerly waiting for substantial content from the hero’s side. To bridge this gap, Yash unveiled a teaser on his birthday, showcasing a key episode and giving fans a glimpse of the movie’s concept.

The teaser introduces Yash’s character, Ray. In one intense sequence, a mafia don’s son is being cremated at a cemetery when Ray arrives in a car, sets dynamites inside via wires, and ensures no one can escape as the explosives go off. The film includes adult-type visuals that are typically seen in Hollywood web series, delivering a surprising shock factor. Yash’s mass avatar meets fan expectations perfectly.

This gangster drama, set in a period backdrop, is locked for release on March 19. Despite other films like “Durandhar 2” and Adavi Sesh’s “Decoy” releasing on the same day, Yash is not stepping back. Ravi Basrur’s music continues with high intensity, and the film’s production quality is top-notch. Except for Yash, no other actors have been revealed yet. The clear and bold design of the hero’s character, especially under a female director, adds a fresh perspective to commercial cinema, and the story seems strongly influenced by Yash himself.
