The Telugu box office is set for a major clash this Dussehra, with several much-awaited films arriving during the festive season. Superstar Rajinikanth’s Jailer 2, which has reportedly crossed the ₹600 crore mark, is scheduled to release alongside Vijay Deverakonda’s Ranabaali. Venkatesh and Trivikram’s Adarsha Kutumbam and Sree Vishnu’s Comrade Kalyan are also set to join the race. Among these releases, the competition between Ranabaali and Jailer 2 has attracted particular attention. Vijay Deverakonda reportedly underwent special training in sword fighting and horse riding for Ranabaali. With Rashmika Mandanna as the female lead, expectations surrounding the film have also increased. The movie, which was postponed from September 11, is now scheduled to release on October 16. While Jailer 2 is expected to have a strong presence in Tamil Nadu, the Ranabaali team is reportedly focusing particularly on the Telugu market.
Meanwhile, Jailer 2 is scheduled for release on October 15, with audiences keen to see whether the sequel can continue the impact created by the first instalment. Adarsha Kutumbam, arriving on October 9, is reportedly aimed at family audiences. The project has also generated interest as it marks Trivikram’s next film after Guntur Kaaram. Sree Vishnu’s Comrade Kalyan is also set to release on the same day. Unlike the two major action-oriented films, these two projects are expected to focus more on entertainment. With four films arriving across different genres during the Dussehra holidays, the response at the box office will become clear only after their theatrical releases.
