Was a Major Share of ‘Peddi’ Movie Budget Spent on Remuneration?

Mega Power Star Ram Charan’s film Peddi, directed by Buchi Babu Sana and starring Janhvi Kapoor as the female lead, has become a topic of discussion over its reported budget. The makers have stated on several occasions that the film was made with a budget of around ₹350 crore.

However, some audience discussions suggest that the on screen output does not fully reflect the ₹350 crore scale. Reports also indicate that nearly ₹170 crore from the total budget may have been spent on remunerations for the hero, director, cast, and technical team. Despite the debate, the film, which was released on June 4, is currently running successfully in theatres.
