During the Christmas and Sankranti seasons, several films usually hit the Tollywood box office, and this year is no exception. Movies like Champion, Shabala, Eesha, Dandora, Pathang, and Vrushabha are all set for release this Christmas. However, the release of Vrushabha has sparked controversy, prompting producer Bunny Vasu to respond. At a recent press meet, he addressed the criticism surrounding the film. He also clarified that actor Roshan Meka, who was initially considered for the project, stepped away due to certain reasons, while Mohanlal plays a key role in the film.
Bunny Vasu clearly stated that Vrushabha is not a dubbed film and has received a direct Telugu certification from the censor board. Since the movie was planned as a multi-language release, changing the release date is not feasible, he explained. He added that the film was originally scheduled for release two months ago but was postponed due to unfavorable theatrical conditions at that time. Dismissing the ongoing criticism, the producer expressed strong confidence in the film’s content.
