Viswanath & Sons Continues Strong Run at the Box Office

Kollywood star Suriya’s latest film ‘Viswanath & Sons’ is making a strong impact at the box office. Directed by Telugu filmmaker Venky Atluri, the film received a positive response from audiences right from its release. The favourable word of mouth has reportedly helped the movie maintain strong momentum across domestic and overseas markets.

According to Sacnilk, ‘Viswanath & Sons’ has collected a reported ₹74.47 crore gross worldwide in its first two days. The film witnessed a significant rise in collections on its second day compared with the opening day. In the US, the movie has already crossed the $1 million mark, with the makers announcing the milestone. It is also being reported as the fastest film in Suriya’s career to reach the mark.

The film is also witnessing strong demand on BookMyShow, with more than 5 lakh tickets reportedly sold in the previous 24 hours. Suriya is paired with Mamitha Baiju, while veteran actresses Radhika Sarathkumar and Raveena Tandon play key roles. Produced by Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas, the film features music by GV Prakash Kumar. If the current trend continues, trade observers expect the movie to achieve more milestones in its theatrical run.
