

The historical film Viplava Veerudu, based on India’s freedom struggle, has officially commenced shooting with a grand pooja ceremony held at Film Nagar in Hyderabad. Directed by S Nagaraj Rao and produced by AV Jayaram under the AVJR Productions banner, the film features senior actress Indraja in a pivotal role, with Jaishwar and Sonali Shetty as the lead pair. Renowned writer Paruchuri Gopalakrishna gave the ceremonial clap for the muhurat shot, marking the formal start of the shoot. The film highlights how ordinary citizens emerged as revolutionary heroes during the freedom movement.
Speaking on the occasion, Indraja revealed that she will be seen as Rani Bhavani Devi, calling the project meaningful and powerful. Actor Jaishwar stated that portraying the role of a revolutionary hero is a memorable milestone in his career. Director S Nagaraj Rao described the film as his dream project, rooted in the British-era historical backdrop. Producer AV Jayaram added that the movie will deliver a strong social message while showcasing the sacrifices made by freedom fighters.
