Tollywood director Anil Ravipudi, who delivered a blockbuster with Bhagavanth Kesari, opened up about a memorable moment with Tamil star Vijay. The remake of the film, titled Jana Nayagan, directed by H. Vinoth, is set to release on July 23 and carries huge expectations as it marks Vijay’s final film. Speaking in an interview, Anil Ravipudi shared that during the shoot of The GOAT in Hyderabad, Vijay personally invited him after watching Bhagavanth Kesari.

Recalling the meeting, Anil said Vijay appreciated the film and praised his direction, mentioning that several scenes stayed with him. He expressed that hearing such words from a star like Vijay made his day unforgettable, and he immediately shared the experience with Mahesh Babu. Anil also clarified that while the makers acquired the remake rights, they developed a fresh story inspired by the original, and he was not involved in the creative process of Jana Nayagan.
