

A new film starring Vijay Sethupathi and Sai Pallavi, directed by Mani Ratnam, is set to begin regular shooting from June. The film will feature music by A. R. Rahman and is being jointly produced by Madras Talkies and Lyca Productions. The makers are planning to complete the shoot within a tight schedule of around 40 to 50 days.
Announced during the Ugadi festival, more updates about the project are expected soon. Meanwhile, Sai Pallavi is busy with multiple major projects. Her film Ek Din is scheduled for release on May 1, and she is also playing Sita in Ramayan, directed by Nitesh Tiwari.
Additionally, she is working alongside Dhanush in the film D55, which is progressing at a fast pace. This marks the first collaboration between Vijay Sethupathi and Sai Pallavi, creating strong anticipation among fans regarding their on-screen chemistry.
