Vijay Deverakonda Reveals Why Rashmika Missed Ranabaali Trailer Launch

The trailer of Ranabaali, a period action drama starring Vijay Deverakonda and directed by Rahul Sankrityan, was launched on October 8. Produced by Mythri Movie Makers, the film features Rashmika Mandanna as the female lead and is scheduled to hit theatres on October 16. Vijay, director Rahul Sankrityan and producers Naveen Yerneni and Y. Ravi Shankar attended the trailer launch. However, Rashmika’s absence became a talking point among fans.

Vijay Deverakonda explained that Rashmika could not attend because of her busy schedule, which includes shooting for multiple films and promotional commitments. He said she had asked him about the promotional dates earlier, but the team had not finalised the venue and schedule until later. Although he had asked her to keep dates available between October 10 and 20, the trailer launch had to be held earlier than expected. Vijay added that coordinating dates becomes challenging when several films and production commitments are involved. The trailer has raised expectations for the film, which brings Vijay and Rashmika together on screen again.
