Vijay Deverakonda Reacts to Fake Reviews!

Actor Vijay Deverakonda has reacted to the recent decision to temporarily suspend movie ratings and reviews on BookMyShow, following court directions amid rising concerns over fake reviews troubling the Telugu film industry. Taking to X, the actor said the move brought him both relief and sadness. While it offers temporary protection to the hard work, dreams, and investments of filmmakers, it is painful that such issues are being created by people within the industry itself.

Vijay recalled facing similar organized attacks during the release of Dear Comrade, stating that repeated attempts to raise the issue earlier fell on deaf ears. He shared that many sleepless nights were spent wondering why such targeted negativity existed and how creators could defend their dreams. Though the court’s acknowledgment that even big-star films face such threats will not completely solve the problem, he believes it offers some relief. Setting the controversy aside, Vijay wished success to Mana Shankara Varaprasad Garu and all films releasing this Sankranthi, hoping they entertain audiences and succeed at the box office.
