India has scripted a new chapter in its sporting history by securing its first-ever bronze medal at the Asian Volleyball Confederation (AVC) Men’s Cup held in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. The Indian volleyball team delivered an impressive performance throughout the tournament, finishing in third place and marking a significant milestone for the sport in the country.
This achievement has brought renewed attention and enthusiasm to volleyball across India, with experts crediting the success to the consistent efforts of the Prime Volleyball League over the past four years. Among the key contributors to this growth is the Hyderabad Black Hawks franchise, co-owned by actor Vijay Deverakonda, who has been actively supporting the development of volleyball talent and promoting the sport at a professional level.
