Tollywood stars Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna have embarked on a spiritual visit ahead of the release of their upcoming period action film ‘Ranabaali’. Scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on October 16, the film has generated considerable anticipation among fans. After recently visiting the Tirumala temple, the duo visited Prasanthi Nilayam in Puttaparthi, Sri Sathya Sai district. They participated in special prayers held at Sai Kulwant Hall as part of the ongoing Dasara Sharannavaratri celebrations and the annual Vedapurusha Saptaha Jnana Yagna. Their appearance together at the spiritual gathering has caught fans’ attention, with photographs and videos from the visit circulating widely on social media.
Vijay Deverakonda shares a special connection with the Sri Sathya Sai educational institutions in Puttaparthi, where he completed his schooling. His visit to the spiritual centre ahead of the release of one of his highly anticipated films has therefore drawn particular interest. Directed by Rahul Sankrityan, ‘Ranabaali’ is set against the backdrop of the devastating famine that affected the Rayalaseema region during British rule, highlighting the suffering of people who faced widespread starvation. Combining historical themes with action, the film is scheduled to arrive in theatres worldwide on October 16. Fans are eagerly awaiting its release and the response it receives at the box office.
