Veteran Actor Sobhan Babu's Wife Shanthakumari Passes Away

Shanthakumari, the wife of legendary Telugu actor Sobhan Babu, passed away in Chennai on Thursday at the age of 96. She had been receiving treatment at a private hospital for age-related health complications. According to family members, she suffered a sudden cardiac arrest while speaking with a close family friend who had come to visit her, and she passed away shortly thereafter.

Her mortal remains have been taken to the family residence in Chennai, and the funeral is scheduled to be held on Friday. Sobhan Babu and Shanthakumari were regarded as one of Telugu cinema's most respected couples and are survived by a son and three daughters.
