Venkatesh V.P. Makes Hero Debut with ‘DGP’

Following the commercial success of K Ramp, Rudransh Celluloid has announced its next production. Produced by successful filmmaker Bommack Shiva, the upcoming film stars Kingdom fame Venkatesh V.P. as the lead actor and is directed by Suresh Teja. The film is currently being referred to by the working title DGP, with Dheeraj Nyathi serving as the CEO.

Venkatesh V.P., who has earned recognition in the Malayalam television and film industry, gained attention among Telugu audiences with his role as Murugan in Kingdom, starring Vijay Deverakonda. He is now making his debut as a lead hero. On the occasion of his birthday, the makers welcomed him on board with a special video glimpse. The fun-filled glimpse shows producer Bommack Shiva and director Suresh Teja calling Venkatesh while he is taking restaurant orders in Thiruvananthapuram. Initially assuming that he is being offered a villain role, Venkatesh shows little interest. However, he is pleasantly surprised when they reveal that he has been chosen as the hero. The glimpse also shows him becoming impressed after hearing the story.
