Bollywood actress Urvashi Rautela’s team has announced legal action against a Los Angeles based AI company, alleging that her name, images and videos were used without permission. The team said it is pursuing appropriate legal remedies and has assessed damages at ₹7,000 crore. It also warned the company against using Urvashi’s name or identity for business purposes without prior permission.

Bollywood.AI founder and CEO Sheeraz Hasan has responded to the claims, calling the ₹7,000-crore demand ridiculous. His response came after a previous interview with Urvashi in which they discussed Bollywood and the future of AI. Hasan said the entertainment industry is moving towards AI films, digital stars and other AI-driven formats, and urged Urvashi to understand the technology and its future.
