Two Major Films Missed by Tarak in Tollywood

In a recent interview, Jr. NTR revealed that some of the films he chose to turn down later went on to become major successes and he admitted to regretting those decisions on certain occasions. He acknowledged that not every choice in his cinematic journey may have been the right one and that a few significant opportunities slipped away.

Speaking about one such instance, he said that several years ago director Boyapati Srinu approached him with the story of Bhadra. At the time, however, the script did not appeal to him strongly enough, and he decided not to take up the project. The film later released and emerged as a big commercial success, leaving him feeling that he might have missed a valuable opportunity by not being part of it.

Similarly, director Bhaskar initially narrated the story of Bommarillu to him. Although he found the story impressive, he felt it lacked the mass elements typically expected by his fan base. Concerned that it might not resonate with the mass audience and his core supporters, he declined the offer. However, after the film achieved remarkable success, he reflected that passing on Bhadra and Bommarillu were missed opportunities in his career.
