Two big movies around Sankranti... OTT is only one!

Sankranti has always been a festive season for big-ticket Telugu film releases, and the trend continues in 2026 as well. Several star-led projects are gearing up for a grand theatrical release during the festival season.

Among them, Megastar Chiranjeevi’s “Mana Shankara Varaprasad Garu” and Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja’s “Bharta Mahashayulaku Vignapti” have generated strong buzz.

In a notable development, the post-theatrical digital rights of both films have been acquired by the same OTT platform. ZEE5 had earlier secured the streaming rights for “Bharta Mahashayulaku Vignapti”, and it has now also bagged the OTT rights for “Mana Shankara Varaprasad Garu.”

With this, both Sankranti releases are confirmed to stream exclusively on ZEE5 after their theatrical run.
While “Mana Shankara Varaprasad Garu” is scheduled for a January 12 release, the official release date of “Bharta Mahashayulaku Vignapti” is yet to be announced.
