

Under the Sai Simhadri Cinema banner, actor and producer Sai Simhadri’s latest film “Son Of”, directed by Battula Satish, was released on February 27 and is receiving an excellent response from audiences. The film explores the emotional bond between a father and son and has struck a chord with viewers. To celebrate its success, the movie team held a success meet attended by Producer Council Secretary Tummala Prasanna Kumar, hero and producer Sai Simhadri, heroine Meera Raj, producer - distributor Shobha Rani and others.
Tummala Prasanna Kumar praised Sai Simhadri’s passion for cinema, saying he was glad to see such positive feedback for his debut film. He also congratulated Shobha Rani for supporting the project and wished Sai a bright future in films. Shobha Rani shared that when Sai first approached her, he planned a small release in just five theatres, but after she connected with other distributors, the film was released in nearly 300 theatres. She said she was drawn to the story’s emotional father–son relationship and was happy to see other producers showing interest in working with Sai.

Speaking at the event, Sai Simhadri said that though he had been working as a software architect in the US, his passion for movies brought him into filmmaking. He stayed in India for a year and a half, facing many challenges before completing the film successfully. He called the release of “Son Of” on February 27 his biggest success and thanked Meera Raj and Shobha Rani for their valuable support. Meera Raj said she was delighted to play a connecting role between the father and son and that the movie gave her meaningful recognition as an actress.
