The Dussehra festive season is shaping up to be a busy period for the Telugu film industry, with seven movies scheduled to release across October. Aadarsha Kutumbam, Hanuman Ansh and Comrade Kalyan are set to arrive on October 9, a week ahead of the festival. Aadarsha Kutumbam is positioned as a family entertainer, while Comrade Kalyan combines comedy with a Naxal backdrop. Hanuman Ansh is a devotional biographical drama based on the life of Neem Karoli Baba, a spiritual teacher and Hanuman devotee who lived between 1900 and 1973. Shobhinav Satya plays the lead role, with Vishal Chaturvedi directing the film.
The festive lineup continues with Jailer 2 and Ranabaali scheduled for October 15 and 16 respectively. Dubbed emotional drama Nanna Kutti, starring Vijay Antony, is also scheduled for October 16, while Garividi Lakshmi, based on the life of the folk artist who helped popularise Burrakatha in North Andhra during the 1990s, is set for October 17. Meanwhile, Vail has recently released its trailer, and the adventure comedy Chandrayaan has unveiled its glimpse. Chandrayaan is scheduled to reach theatres later in the month, adding further variety to the upcoming theatrical lineup.
