After the massive success of the KGF series, actor Yash is gearing up to make a strong comeback with the big-budget film “Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown Ups”, directed by Geetu Mohandas. The film has created huge excitement since its announcement. Recently, rumors about a possible delay in release spread on social media, worrying fans. However, the makers have now clarified that the movie will release as planned on June 4 worldwide.
With just a few weeks left for release, promotions have picked up speed. The team is aiming to take the film to a global level, not just as a pan-India project. The movie is being made in Kannada and English and will also be released in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Hindi.
Set between the 1940s and 1970s, the film is a period action drama based on a gangster backdrop in Goa. It will showcase stories around the drug mafia and gang wars of that era. The film features a strong cast including Nayanthara, Kiara Advani, Huma Qureshi and Tara Sutaria. At the same time, Yash is also working on the film “Ramayana”, where he will be seen as Ravana. With high expectations and a huge budget, “Toxic” is expected to create another big impact at the box office.
