Toxic Pre-Release Event Turns Chaotic.. Police Register Case

A mishap occurred during the pre-release event of Yash-starrer ‘Toxic’ at Malla Reddy University in Hyderabad on Saturday. Amid a large gathering of students and fans, some attendees climbed onto a sound box stand, which suddenly collapsed. Four people were injured in the incident, including a student who reportedly suffered a leg fracture. All the injured were shifted to a nearby hospital for treatment.

Following the incident, police registered a case against the university management and the event manager in connection with the accident. Authorities are looking into the safety arrangements and crowd management at the event. Yash, who was addressing the gathering when the structure collapsed, briefly stopped his speech and checked on those affected. The incident has raised concerns over safety measures at large-scale film promotional events.
