Kannada star Yash and Kiara Advani are teaming up for the upcoming action drama ‘Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups’, directed by Geetu Mohandas. The film has attracted attention following mixed reactions to its trailer and songs, with Kiara also facing online criticism. Yash has responded to the trolling on several occasions, while Kiara has largely stayed away from the controversy. As the film gears up for its theatrical release on August 26, Kiara has opened up about her experience of working on ‘Toxic’ and described it as an opportunity to step outside her comfort zone and learn new things.
Kiara also shared a picture from the shoot featuring her inside a large water-filled tank. She spoke about how every new character and challenge can help people discover their own capabilities. According to her, moving forward despite fear and embracing unfamiliar experiences can lead to personal growth. She added that ‘Toxic’ taught her to accept new situations while staying calm. The film also stars Nayanthara, Huma Qureshi, Tara Sutaria and Rukmini Vasanth in key roles and is reportedly set against the backdrop of the underworld, revolving around a gangster’s story.
