Toxic Advance Bookings: Telugu Version Takes the Lead in the US

Kannada superstar Yash’s upcoming action film Toxic is generating significant buzz ahead of its worldwide release. Directed by Geetu Mohandas, the film features Yash in the lead role alongside Kiara Advani, Rukmini Vasanth, Tara Sutaria and Huma Qureshi, while Nayanthara appears in another important role. With US premiere bookings already underway, the Telugu version is reportedly performing strongly in advance sales. Bookings are currently open for the Kannada and Telugu versions, with the Telugu edition said to be ahead at present, raising expectations for a strong opening in the Telugu-speaking states.

The film has music by Ravi Basrur and is being jointly produced by Yash and KVN Productions. Planned as a pan-India action entertainer, Toxic is expected to reach audiences across multiple languages. The positive trend in US premiere bookings has already sparked discussion about the film’s opening collections. Yash’s established market among Telugu audiences is being seen as a major advantage, although the final language-wise booking numbers will become clearer closer to release. Toxic is scheduled to arrive in theatres worldwide on August 26.
