Telugu cinema fans have much to look forward to in 2026, with several high-profile films lined up across the year. The festive Sankranthi season is expected to kick off with The Raja Saab, slated for release on January 9, 2026, followed closely by Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu on January 12. February will witness the arrival of Swayambhu, featuring Nikhil Siddhartha in a warrior role, directed by Bharat Krishnamachari, with Samyuktha Menon and Nabha Natesh as the female leads.
March is poised to be one of the busiest months, with Decoit starring Adivi Sesh and Mrunal Thakur expected in mid-March. A major box-office clash is anticipated on March 26, as Ram Charan’s Peddi, directed by Buchi Babu Sana, and Nani’s The Paradise, directed by Srikanth Odela, hit theatres simultaneously. Pawan Kalyan’s Ustaad Bhagat Singh under Harish Shankar’s direction is also expected around the same period. Additionally, the Telugu version of Dhurandhar 2 is likely to create a strong impact despite not being a direct Tollywood production. The summer season may see Chiranjeevi’s Vishwambhara around June, while the Balakrishna–Gopichand Malineni project is also expected sometime in 2026. Prabhas’ Fauji, directed by Hanu Raghavapudi, remains uncertain, depending on production progress. Notably, top stars Allu Arjun, Mahesh Babu, and NTR are not expected to have releases in 2026.
