Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh reportedly received threat messages from a member linked to the Bishnoi Gang, creating concern in the film industry. According to national media reports, a person identified as Harry Boxer allegedly sent a voice note demanding ₹10 crore. The message was reportedly received on the WhatsApp number of Ranveer Singh’s manager from a US-based phone number. Following the incident, the Mumbai Crime Branch is said to have contacted US authorities to trace the number, while a case is yet to be officially registered.
The development comes shortly after unidentified persons opened fire outside the residence of filmmaker Rohit Shetty, with police later arresting the accused. Investigations revealed that the attackers were allegedly promised ₹3 lakh by the Bishnoi gang, including an advance payment of ₹50,000, and had used a country-made weapon. Authorities also indicated a possible link to gang member Shubham Lonkar, who is already facing allegations in the murder case of Baba Siddiqui. The recent incidents have intensified security concerns surrounding prominent personalities.
