Had his recent film become a blockbuster, Dil Raju’s production calculations would have taken a different turn... but fate had other plans. Later, the names of two well-known Tamil heroes also floated around. But in a twist no one saw coming, the buzz suddenly shifted to Devi Sri Prasad stepping in as the hero. DSP making his acting debut is still not officially confirmed, but the possibility itself has turned heads in the industry. Meanwhile, Keerthy Suresh was widely rumored to play the female lead in Ellamma.

However, during the recent Revolver Rita press event, she clarified that she is not part of the project... leaving fans shocked and confused.
