Sumanth, who is playing the lead role in Mahendragiri Varahi, recently attended the film’s trailer launch event along with the team. Director Venky Atluri was the chief guest at the event. Speaking on the occasion, Sumanth praised Venky and recalled that he had earlier acted in a small role in Venky’s Sir.

Sumanth also spoke highly of Venky’s latest film Vishwanath & Sons, saying that he liked the movie. He particularly appreciated the writing in the first half and described it as being like a textbook. Mahendragiri Varahi is directed by Santhosh Jagarlapudi and features Aishwarya Rajesh, Malavika Nair and Meenakshi Goswami in key roles, with Siddhu Jonnalagadda appearing in a guest role.
