Rocking Star Yash and Kiara Advani are gearing up for the release of their much-awaited film Toxic, directed by Geetu Mohandas. The period action drama, set against the backdrop of a drug cartel operating in Goa between the 1950s and 1970s, also features Nayanthara, Tara Sutaria, Huma Qureshi, and Rukmini Vasanth in key roles. Produced by KVN Productions, the film is scheduled to hit theatres on August 26 after facing multiple postponements. As the release date approaches, the cast has begun promoting the film, creating fresh excitement among fans.
During a recent interview, Kiara Advani revealed an interesting experience from the shoot. She said one of the most challenging and satisfying scenes of her career is part of Toxic. On the day of filming, director Geetu Mohandas handed her a script containing two to three pages of Kannada dialogues. Despite not being fluent in Kannada, Kiara accepted the challenge, memorized the entire dialogue on the set, and completed the scene in a single take. She added that while the team had planned to shoot the sequence over two days, it was wrapped up in just one day. Kiara said she is eagerly waiting to see the audience's response to her performance, calling Toxic one of the biggest theatrical releases of her career.
