Tension at Film Chamber.. Sumalatha Confronts Federation Leaders

Tension prevailed at the Film Chamber after Sumalatha entered a media meeting being conducted by the Film Federation, leading to a heated exchange with federation leaders. Sumalatha reportedly objected to being denied entry into the meeting and questioned the decision. Police reached the Film Chamber to control the situation. The development comes after the Film Federation recently cancelled an election conducted by the Sumalatha faction.

Speaking on the issue, Sumalatha questioned why choreographer Johnny Master was being dragged into the controversy. She said she had come to the Chamber with the belief that the federation would support their side. Sumalatha also questioned why she and her supporters were not being allowed into a press meet organised in the name of the Federation and the Dancers Association. The incident led to tension at the Film Chamber for some time.
