Telugu Film Directors Trust Announcement: Massive Aid for Film Workers

The Telugu Film Directors Trust (TFDT) has issued a significant announcement regarding the welfare of film workers. The Trust has stepped forward to provide financial assistance to workers across various departments currently active in the industry. Having previously extended substantial aid during the COVID-19 pandemic, the TFDT has once again reaffirmed its commitment to its responsibilities by announcing financial assistance amounting to lakhs of rupees for several departments. The Trust stated that these funds have been allocated with the specific needs of film workers in mind.

As part of this announcement, specific financial aid was declared for numerous categories, including directors, associate directors, assistant directors, light boys, makeup artists, drivers, and general laborers. The Trust revealed that this assistance would be extended to thousands of workers over the 2024–26 period. The TFDT clarified that this decision was taken with the objective of supporting every single department operating within the industry.
