The Telangana government has finally approved a hike in ticket prices for The Raja Saab, starring Rebel Star Prabhas in the lead. Although the film is scheduled to release on Friday, the makers had earlier requested permission to conduct premiere shows on Thursday night and implement revised ticket rates from Friday. While permission for premiere shows was denied, the government issued a GO after midnight on Thursday, allowing ticket price hikes from Friday onwards.

As per the GO, from Friday until Sunday (up to the 11th of this month), ticket prices can be increased by ₹105 in single-screen theatres and ₹132 in multiplexes. From the 12th to the 18th, the permitted hike will be ₹62 for single screens and ₹89 for multiplexes. The government also directed that 20% of the additional revenue generated from the hike be paid to the Film Federation. Directed by Maruthi, the horror-fantasy thriller is produced by People Media Factory, with music composed by Thaman S. The film stars Malavik.
