Child actor–turned–lead star Teja Sajja has created a strong impact by delivering back-to-back pan-India blockbusters Hanu-Man and Mirai. He is currently one of the most sought-after young actors in Tollywood and has an impressive lineup of projects ahead. Teja has already announced sequels to his successful films Zombie Reddy and Mirai, both of which are in the pre-production stage.
According to the latest reports, Teja is planning to shoot Zombie Reddy 2 and Mirai 2 simultaneously and complete both films in 2026. While Zombie Reddy 2 is expected to go on floors in January next year, Mirai 2 is likely to begin shoot in early summer. He is reportedly adjusting his dates in such a way that he can complete both films in parallel without wasting unnecessary time.
If this turns out to be true, it will be a smart and strategic move by Teja. Shooting two major films back-to-back will allow him to make the most of his peak career phase instead of spending two years on a single project. Since both sequels are being produced by People Media Factory, managing the schedule and coordination becomes even easier for the team.
Usually, Tollywood actors take longer to finalise their future projects and complete them after delivering hits, mainly due to heightened expectations. However, Teja Sajja seems to be planning his career in an ideal manner—prioritising his work and ensuring timely completion.
Zombie Reddy 2 is likely to be directed by a Bollywood filmmaker, with Prashant Varma providing the story and screenplay.
Mirai 2 will be directed by Karthik Ghattamaneni.
