Sukumar’s Daughter Achieves Another Rare Feat

Sukriti Veni, daughter of acclaimed filmmaker Sukumar, has achieved another notable milestone. She won the National Award for Best Child Artist for the 2024 film ‘Gandhi Tatha Chettu’. She has now been selected for the Ensemble Excellence Award in the music programme at Berklee College of Music in Boston, USA.

Along with the recognition, Sukriti Veni has secured a full scholarship. As many as 272 students auditioned, but only 14 were selected for full scholarships. Sukriti became the only student selected in the singers’ category, making the achievement particularly special. Her growing success in both acting and music has drawn attention to her emerging talent.
