Sudeep Birthday Special - ‘Devaraya’ Title Teaser Released

Kiccha Sudeep is a familiar name among Telugu audiences, especially for his memorable performance as the antagonist in ‘Eega’. He has also appeared in guest roles in Telugu films such as ‘Baahubali’ and ‘Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy’. Now, on the occasion of his birthday, a new project featuring the Kannada star has been announced. Produced by People Media Factory, the film has been titled ‘Devaraya’.

The makers have revealed that the film will be based on the life of the legendary Vijayanagara emperor Sri Krishnadevaraya. ‘Hanu-Man’ fame composer Gaurahari will score the music, while the recently released title teaser has generated interest around the project. The film is scheduled to hit theatres in December next year. However, the makers have not yet revealed the director’s name, leaving fans wondering whether the announcement is being kept under wraps or the director is yet to be finalised. There is also no clarity yet on whether ‘Devaraya’ will be released as a pan-India film.
