Tollywood’s young sensation Sreeleela shot to fame in a short time thanks to her sizzling dance moves, and it is undeniable that only a few actresses of the current generation can match her energy and grace in songs. She can even be a challenge for some male actors, as it is not easy to complement her dancing skills while sharing the screen with her. For someone like Sreeleela, who has already proved her calibre with energetic dance performances, the first single Singaaraala Seethakoka from her upcoming film Parasakthi, starring Tamil actor Siva Karthikeyan, offers a refreshing change with its melodious tone and highlights the chemistry of the lead pair. The romantic number brings a retro feel with a vintage setting, making it a treat for music lovers.
Sung evocatively by LV Revanth and Dhee with meaningful lyrics by Bhaskarbhatla, the song is beautifully composed by GV Prakash Kumar, marking his 100th album. Both Siva Karthikeyan and Sreeleela shine through their breezy and mesmerizing romance set on a vibrant, busy street. This song contrasts with Sreeleela’s usual mass numbers, allowing her expressive eyes and lovely facial expressions to stand out. If Parasakthi performs well at the box office, it could be Sreeleela’s big break into Tamil cinema. Made with a budget of around 150 Crores, the film is a period drama set against anti-Hindu agitations in 1970s Tamil Nadu, directed by Sudha Kongara, and slated for release on January 14th.
