Sree Vishnu Faces Release Clash Tension

Releasing two films of the same hero at the same time is considered a risky move in the film industry, a situation earlier faced by actors like Nani and Balakrishna. Now, actor Sree Vishnu appears to be heading toward a similar challenge, with his films Mrutyunjay and Vishnu Vinyasam both locking February as their release window. Mrutyunjay has officially announced February 27 as its release date, reportedly to pre empt the other film, which is also preparing for an announcement around the same time.

Industry sources suggest that OTT agreements have already been finalized, leaving little room for major rescheduling, though a one week adjustment remains a possibility. Even with a slight gap, the back to back releases could dilute audience attention, especially given Sree Vishnu’s strong youth following. Despite the films belonging to different genres, the close release dates may create confusion among audiences.
