Tom Holland and Zendaya starrer Spider-Man: Brand New Day is continuing its impressive performance at the Indian box office. According to trade reports, the film has crossed the Rs. 500 crore gross mark, while its total collections, including the 3D version, are said to have reached around Rs. 520 crore. The movie has maintained steady collections even in its second week, reflecting its strong popularity among Indian audiences.
The film is expected to face competition from the upcoming releases Batwara 1947 and Awarapan 2. However, if Spider-Man: Brand New Day maintains its current hold, analysts believe it could finish its theatrical run with around Rs. 600 crore gross and Rs. 500 crore net in India. Reports suggest that nearly 1.7 crore people have already watched the film in theatres. If it crosses the two-crore audience mark, it could join the likes of Titanic and Avengers: Endgame among Hollywood films that achieved the feat in India.
