Sources close to the actor confirmed that he did visit a hospital in Mumbai on May 16, but clarified that it was only for a routine medical checkup. After completing the tests, he was discharged, and doctors stated that his health is currently stable.

Responding to fans who were worried about his health, Amitabh shared a note on his blog saying he is doing well. He wrote, “Love, prayers… and more”, reassuring his admirers. Even at the age of 83, the legendary actor remains busy with multiple projects, including the sequel to Kalki 2898 AD and the courtroom drama ‘Section 84’. He is also set to return with the next season of the popular reality show ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’.
