Shriya Saran, who once established herself as one of the most sought-after actresses by starring opposite several leading heroes, is now enjoying a promising second innings. She recently appeared in a special role in Mirai and is reportedly receiving several new offers. In a recent interview, Shriya opened up about the memorable first meeting that led to her working with Superstar Rajinikanth.
Shriya recalled that director Shankar once called her and asked if she would be interested in acting in a film. After she agreed, he asked her to come to his office. When she arrived, she noticed several prominent personalities, including A.R. Rahman and Rajinikanth. She then realised that something significant was being discussed. Shankar introduced Rajinikanth as her co-star, leaving her surprised. That meeting eventually marked the beginning of the Sivaji project, and Shriya said she only understood the film’s enormous scale after seeing the celebrated names associated with it.
