Nari Nari Naduma Murari, which performed well in theatres during the Sankranti season, has reportedly failed to impress television audiences. The film, starring Sharwanand, recently had its world television premiere on ETV and managed to secure only a 1.59 TRP rating. The surprisingly low viewership has sparked discussions within Tollywood circles, especially since the movie received a positive response from family audiences during its theatrical run.
Directed by Ram Abbaraju, the film featured Samyuktha Menon and Sakshi Vaidya in lead roles alongside Sharwanand. With comedy and family emotions as its core strengths, the movie performed decently at the box office. However, analysts believe several factors, including the ongoing IPL season, growing OTT consumption, and declining television viewership among younger audiences, may have affected the TRP numbers. The film’s music was composed by Vishal Chandrasekhar, while Anil Sunkara and Ramabrahmam Sunkara backed the project. The unexpected television performance has now become a major talking point on social media.
