Tollywood actors and brothers-in-law Sharwanand and Ram are currently focused on their upcoming films, both hoping for strong box-office comebacks. The two actors have put in serious effort to ensure their next releases make an impact. Ram’s Andhra King Thalooka is scheduled for release on November 28, while Sharwanand’s Biker is set to arrive on December 6. The promotional material of both films has received encouraging responses, raising expectations among fans.
However, some movie lovers believe both actors may be stepping into a risky release zone. The highly anticipated Akhanda 2, starring Nandamuri Balakrishna, hits theatres on December 5 with nationwide hype and aggressive promotions already underway. While Ram’s film gets a one-week head start, analysts say the arrival of Akhanda 2 could overshadow its theatrical run. Even if Andhra King Thalooka opens well, collections might drop once the Balakrishna starrer takes over the box office.
Sharwanand’s Biker is in an even tighter spot, releasing just a day after Akhanda 2. Competing against such a massive sequel is no easy task, and the film will need exceptionally strong word-of-mouth to hold its ground.
With both releases positioned so close to a major pan-India film, many believe Ram and Sharwanand are taking a calculated risk. Whether it works out in their favor will only be known once the films hit theatres.
