Shanarthi Arrives with the Essence of Telangana Soil

Actor Akhil Raj, who gained recognition with Raju Weds Rambai, is now starring as the lead in an intriguing new film titled Shanarthi. The movie is being jointly produced by Sampath Nandi Teamworks and Sri Dhanalakshmi Productions, presented by Aditya Movies. Raj Ganesh Uppunooti, a disciple of filmmaker Sampath Nandi, is making his directorial debut with the project. The film was formally launched with a pooja ceremony at Ramanaidu Studios.

Set against a rural backdrop, Shanarthi aims to showcase the culture, traditions and lifestyle of Telangana. Suresh Bobbili is composing the music for the film. The recently unveiled title poster has also attracted attention, featuring two hands adorned with bangles and bracelets against vibrant yellow and red tones, reflecting the cultural identity of Telangana. Folk singer Nagadurga is making her acting debut as the female lead. With rural life, local traditions and emotional elements at its core, the film has generated interest with Sampath Nandi’s support and production involvement.
