Director Yugandhar Muni has expressed happiness over the overwhelming response received by the film Shambala, starring versatile actor Aadi in the lead role. Produced by Mahidhar Reddy and Rajasekhar Annabhimoju under the Shining Pictures banner, the film released on December 25 and opened to strong positive talk from its premiere shows itself. The encouraging word of mouth translated into impressive Day One collections, with packed houses and housefull boards across several centres.

Speaking to the media, Yugandhar Muni shared that Shambala was developed over three years with great responsibility, balancing science and spirituality without hurting sentiments. He praised Aadi’s dedication, the strong technical support from cinematographer Praveen K Bangari and music director Sri Charan Pakala, and the producers’ unwavering backing despite budget escalations. The director also revealed that the film is receiving good responses in Tamil Nadu and Karnataka, and confirmed that he will continue exploring supernatural and thriller genres in his upcoming projects.
