

Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan has praised the promotional strategy of director Mohit Suri’s film Saiyaara. Unlike typical movie promotions filled with interviews and events, the film followed a unique no-hype approach. The movie introduced newcomers Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda. Instead of promoting them heavily, the director chose to keep them away from media interactions, letting their performances speak directly on screen.
Mohit Suri revealed that Shah Rukh Khan appreciated this strategy during a recent interaction, calling it one of the best decisions as a filmmaker. He also noted that the budget usually spent on PR was instead used to promote the film’s music effectively. With its songs becoming chartbusters, the film attracted audiences without heavy expectations and went on to collect around ₹570 crore worldwide, emerging as a major success.
