Saraswathi Film Title Changed to S. Saraswathi After Censor Objections

The upcoming film Saraswathi, directed by actress Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, has undergone a title change following objections from the censor board. The makers have officially revised the title to S. Saraswathi.  According to reports, the change was made after the censor board raised concerns about using the name of a Hindu goddess directly in the film’s title. As a result, the initial S. has been added to modify the title.

The film marks Varalaxmi Sarathkumar’s directorial debut, and she also plays the lead role while co-producing the movie with her sister Pooja Sarathkumar. The thriller features actors Priyamani, Prakash Raj, Radhika, Saptagiri, and Kishore in key roles.
