In Telugu cinema, the Sankranti season is known for major box-office clashes, and the 2026 lineup is no exception. A total of six films, including dubbing movies, are preparing to compete during the festival. Jana Nayakudu and Parashakti have already locked their dates, while The Raja Saab is set to begin the race from January 8. Anaganaga Oka Raju too has finalized its release date. However, the release date of Megastar Chiranjeevi’s film still remains a suspense, as updates are coming out but no official date has been announced yet.
Ravi Teja’s Bhartha Mahashayulu also hasn’t confirmed its release date, though the makers are keen on releasing it during Sankranti at any cost. Sharwanand’s Naari Naari Naduma Murari is another film awaiting clarity. If two major films release on the same day, both will face challenges in terms of theatre availability. Managing theatre allocations has also become a major hurdle for the makers. With all these uncertainties, the Sankranti 2026 clash is expected to turn even more thrilling and intense.
