Sanjay Dutt Honoured by Balakrishna

Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt visited the Basavatarakam Indo American Cancer Hospital and Research Institute in Hyderabad. He was warmly welcomed by hospital chairman Nandamuri Balakrishna along with trust members Nara Brahmani and JSR Prasad. Sanjay Dutt paid floral tributes to the statues of Nandamuri Basavatarakam and Nandamuri Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao. During his visit, he inspected key departments including PET CT, radiation, bone marrow transplant, and pediatric wards. He interacted with doctors and patients and distributed gifts and fruits to children undergoing treatment.

At a special event held at the hospital auditorium, Nandamuri Balakrishna honoured Sanjay Dutt with a shawl and presented him with a memento. Balakrishna explained the vision behind establishing the hospital and highlighted its advanced cancer treatment facilities. Sanjay Dutt, who successfully battled lung cancer, encouraged patients not to fear the disease and stressed the importance of early diagnosis and timely treatment. He appreciated the hospital’s efforts in providing quality cancer care to patients.
